Returning to the UK with plants

Did anyone move to or is anyone planning to return to the UK with plants recently? I have houseplants older than I am that I don’t want to leave behind, but the recent rule changes look like this will be very difficult!

My understanding is that as houseplants aren't "plants for planting" then you'd be OK.

Yes, I have wondered what plants for planting means - I have even wondered about registering as an importer myself. So I guess I’m looking to see if anyone has had any negative experiences recently.
