I bought a used phone from a seller on Ricardo. I have not paid yet. But I now see that his account has just been blocked by Ricardo. What should I do?

I wrote him an E mail and he thinks he was blocked because he did not pay for some of his purchases on time. He said he will send me a tracking number from the Swiss Post when he sends it on Monday. So I agreed to transfer the money on Monday by Bank Transfer. Lets see what happens. 
The person acknowledged lack of seriousness at business. I’d run away from the deal. Ricardo gave you an excuse, use it.

I wouldn’t send it until you receive the item. He could just send you an empty envelope by tracking.
He has some negative on his account but otherwise all positive. And its all an account verified by Ricardo. Its not alot of money that I will pay (100CHF) but still if he fails to deliver he will regret it.

I once was blocked for logging in from another canton I moved to, and they insisting on setting a different email address for my account to make things safer. O_O
I’d consider contacting the Ricardo support team.
I would contact the Ricardo support team and understand why you were blocked. I didn’t pay for some 8 weeks something that I had bought -as I was out of the country-, and didn’t have any problem…
I don’t think lack of one item payment would block your account. You just get a negative review by the buyer…
It wasn’t omtatsat that was blocked (strangely) but the seller.

I would never buy a used phone. Never know where it’s been!
Well money was sent and the iPod touch 7 generation is on its way to me. No worries.
