Hello, I am new here and not really in Switzerland, but have a question concerning Ricardo.ch, which is, I believe, something like Swiss Vinted. I spotted there something (a ring) I really want to buy, but completing the registration process and verification turned out to be impossible as the drop-down list of countries you need to choose yours from does not include Poland, where I am from. It is a strange omission as there are almost all countries of the world on the list, but mine is not. For this reason I can neither make a purchase nor even just reach out to the seller. I have contacted Ricardo.ch customer service thrice already asking for help (via their customer service form and FB messenger) but did not receive any reply whatsover, to any of my emails/ messages. In the meantime the purchase option expired, but the ring is still listed on Ricardo. Has anyone of you had any experience with them? Are they still operating normally? I find it shocking that they would just ignore so many messages… I think it is also unfair to the seller, since the ring was there for sale for a whole year before it expired 4 days ago. Does any other way (other than email/ FB) to contact them come into your mind? I will be so very grateful for any info, advice or tips

So, after almost 2 weeks I have received a reply to my email from Ricardo customer service 
. It turns out that Ricardo has a list of countries whose citizens are responsible for numerous fraud attempts and Poland is one of them, together with Czechia, Estonia, Lithuenia etc. - basically all central and eastern European countries (and many more).
“This measure serves the security and protection of all members who are honest with Ricardo.” - the email says.
It did take me aback a little 
But it does prove that they are honest and transparent about things, though! 
I realize that since this is a forum for people living in Switzerland, it does not affect you, but decided to add this closure anyway in case anyone searches for the same thing in future while living in a country full of dishonest people.
Very strange indeed that Poland is completely excluded (even from the list) as an EU member.
You’re right, this was not a subject people here would be able to offer experience, which is the reason you got no replies at all I guess.
Wish you better luck on other platforms than ricardo.ch.
If it ever crossed your mind to shop at anibis.ch, beware that as there is no seller feedback/reputation system, it is full of scammers, who, despite having Swiss phone numbers and account numbers will take your money but will not send any goods.
