The BBC ran an episode of Fawlty Towers on BBC1 last night. She played Sybil Fawlty so perfectly.
That sharp “BASIL!” would cut through steel 
The way she really cut through him was to silently look at him. She was in bad shape these past few years…vascular dementia for 12 years, yet she soldiered on, raising others’ awareness of this devastating disease. RIP.

I watched Fawlty Towers last night.
I’m surprised she lived as long with vascular dementia. My dad had it and it progresses very rapidly, patients usually die within a couple of years from things related to it or like my dad they decide they’ve had enough.
