Road ID

Anybody using products like Road ID when cycling or running, to alert people of your emergency contact person should something bad happen to you?

I bought the slim rubber bracelet on line for my hubby who is triathlete. it s a good idea and most importantly can save the life, especially if you are training alone.

Wearing Wrist ID slim with Road ID interactive (information online rather on bracelet). First I've just used it for cycling and other sports as usually I am alone there, but then it just became as a day-to-day bracelet (although not sure how does it look for other people )

a similar product was marketed for motorcyclists in the UK, it was a USB stick with all contact info etc utagice is the name.

feedback from various medical experts on forums is that its a waste of time as no one is going to check info on a usb stick and the hospital computers wont accept a usb stick, and any really important info wont be accessable in the ambulance anyway.

its also a waste of time putting blood type on helmet stickers etc as a quick test is performed anyway

I just carry my UCI licence, phone and a card with contact numbers on
