Road works at Bahnhofplatz/HB Zürich

Its created a dangerous chaos with all the pedestrian diversions. One of the detours (very narrow) for pedestrians runs right along the station platform and there are hundreds of people using it with heavy luggage etc. It would take very little for someone to fall onto the track here in front of an incoming train.

Zurich getting worse and worse with all these building sites. Just to fill the pockets of the building industries. And for Zurich politicians to get their “kickbacks” :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

“Where does tram 3 go?”, “How do I get to ETH?” – Zurich is sinking into the construction pit and commuters are in chaos

I don’t know … I do not remember a building site in Zurich ever only lasting 27 days. What’s the fuss? It’s holiday-time, a lot less people on their way to work. Is it all that bad when you can’t stare at your handy while walking the same ol’, same ol’ path?

omtatsat’s link is in German, wanna read it anyway? https://archive.is/WJG0b. Don’t know why it was archived, it’s not very well written and the actual info could have been put in one sentence.

Dont know much about the construction, but the link led me to a pop up offer that I cant resist.

Thanks Omtatsat!

Its only for 100 days then 29 chf a month. Crazy price.

I never carry my phone with me let alone stare at it like the zombies in Bahnhofstrasse.

That’s what I thought too actually.
Plus one gotta be careful, when I look at their general abo-prices they play around with words limited, “umfangreich” (extensive) and unlimited.
Specially the “umfangreich” bothers me, sounds like they choose what you can read and you’ll get the junk you’re not interested in.

I just imagined in the old days if they had offered you an “abo” without the politics and the sports part for half price.

I reacted more to the article than to you personally.

Please! don’t insult the Zombies. Call them what they really are. Tourons!
