Robbie Williams & Take That back together again

Last night, Robbie Williams and Take That appeared together on stage for the first time in years.

Just that, they didn't sing together as a group, but were together with Paul McCartney for a singalong at the end of the Children in Need concert.

Story

Anyone bothered?

why is there something in the back of my head telling that Robbie swore a while ago that it didn't want to have anything to do with Take That?

Maybe the mega-selling Take That albums changed his mind

Please don't take this the wrong way, but.... No.

Robbie Williams? Hot and bothered

"Can't stop here; bat country..."

I dont give a toss about Take That but I heart Robbie

He's done a bit of growing up that Robbie boy, or so it seems ...

Crawling back and pasting his mug on every show he can to "help" his new album.

Can't stand the guy.

Take That are better off without him

I guess they weren't such a big deal in the US, or at least not the areas where I lived and certainly Robbie Williams wasn't.

The only song that comes immediately to mind for them is "Back for Good" (which I love ) but I remember when coming here to meet hubby's family and Robbie Williams was on TV for something I said "Robbie who?!?"

I've always been a sucker for a good ballad though.

He's never been any good since Mork & Mindy.

And even that, in retrospect, was crap.

*tap* *tap*. Nope, it isn't broken.

Not impressed with Robbie Williams voice.

It seems as if he is desperate to get back with Take That.

Quite obvious that he has some real personal issues and is totally insecure.

Yawn Yawn Yawn.

Granted, I'm quite out of the loop on pop culture and music, but I'd never heard of him or the band until I moved here...

I think it is wonderful how many people are not bothered, like me, but still read the thread and have to comment.

Had a quiet Friday,have you?

Yes, so quiet that we're currently watching Domino 2009 on ORF 1.

(It is cold, my cat keeps attacking my legs and I am getting excited about my trip that is only a little more than a week away )

Have to agree with that. Since he kicked his cocaine habit, he's lost his edge.

I didn't even realize he was a singer until I checked out Take That and Robbie Williams on YouTube. What a bunch of sappy crap. Take That!

I can't thank you the usual way, so I do it this way: [](http://www.englishforum.ch/post_thanks.php?do=post_thanks_add&p=610495) [](http://www.englishforum.ch/post_thanks.php?do=post_thanks_add&p=610495) , had a good lough

Anyone bothered?[/quote]

obviously!

My sentiments exactly.

There seems to be a distinct male/female split on this subject.

Me: Female

Robbie Williams: Yes, please
