i've seen that this subject has already been discussed in the past, but i want to know how are the things now, in 2017, regarding the equivalence/accreditation of a romanian dentist diploma in Switzerland.
Long story short, we would really like to relocate ourselves in Switzerland, and be able to work in our fields of practice: (my husband as a dentist, and me as a lawyer).
The topic today is about the procedure of getting the dentist diploma (issued by a romanian accredited university), recognized in Switzerland, and finding a job as a dentist there.
What are the formalities? Is it necessary to attend other classes, pass new exams, what are the costs for this, and nevertheless was anyone among the members been in a similar situation? Does anyone know what is the average income for a dentist in Switzerland?
My husband has 2 years experience as a dentist in Romania, and he speaks fluently English and german language.

to get his qualifications recognised and you will have to contact the judicial authorities of the Canton where you wish to work.
I expect you may have to do some retraining/courses to get up to speed on Swiss law. Do you speak German too? That will be necessary to work as a lawyer here. Whether your husband will need to do retraining/courses as well the FOPH will be able to tell him.
Another problem you have at the moment is there are quota limits on permits for Bulgarian and Romanian nationals. It came into force on 1st June 2017 and is valid for a year. And of course could be extended if the Swiss feel it’s necessary. You can keep track of the situation here:

If the situation of my husband seems easier, mine it is kind of hard, since i don't speak german at all . The restriction regarding romanians and bulgarians is another problem. I was thinking to attend a Specialization Course in International Banking, Finance and Insurance Law, (and get my second master degree), because it is teached in english, but his will be possible only if my husband gets the right to work in Switzerland.
Though, he will try and contact the authorities that you mentioned, and we will see how things look after they answer him.

Given your languages, you might want to look at the Swiss French area (think Lausanne, Nyon, Geneva etc.). French might be an easier project for you both.

I appreciate your suggestion, but the decision is very difficult, since my husband already speaks german and English, but not french (at all). On the other hand, i speak English and a little bit of french (how much I learned in school).
We were thinking that we can support ourselves from his salary, and meanwhile, I can go to university and get that master degree that i said about in a previous reply, and try to do my best to learn some german too. But this "ideal" situation would be possible only if he can find a job.
We will try to figure out the best way for our lives.

Understand that for your line of work “some German” probably won’t be enough. You’ll likely need to be fluent or near fluent, unless you can get into an international position where English may be what’s needed.

There is a Romanian dentist working in Cheseaux-sur-Lausanne. I have forgotten her name but I think it's Mihaela. Why not contact them and have a chat with her. They are located on Route d'Yverdon across from BCV.
