Where exactly is Romatsch spoken? I would be curious to visit an area where it was spoken, and to see how that area and the people are different. I imagine it's just in remote areas? Can one still learn that language?
You can learn it... its used by around 5% of the population...
Romantsch is spoken and taught in schools in the Chur area. I know someone who is a teacher and she speaks Romantsch fluently. The village of Domat Ems, is a few minutes from Chur and lots of folks speak it as an everyday language.
There's a daily Rätorumantsch broadcast on SF1 at 17:40, called Telesguard (Emissiun d'infurmaziun). I've heard you can get Firefox in RR, too.
Sorry to say so, but this is wrong. It's in both the Hinter- and Vorderrhein valley plus in the Engadine where Raeto-Romansh is spoken.
There are three or four dialects in Romantsch, depends where you want to study. There are summer classes in Samedan in the upper Engadine if that helps.

Sorry to correct you. But my son`s girlfriend is the teacher. And she teaches the language and speaks it fluently . This is in Domat Ems..
Quite true! You can download it here . And, of course, there is Google in Raeto-Romansh , too.
Which is neither in the Hinterrhein nor the Vorderrhein valley (but just afterwards, where both Rines join)! You win
