Do you have any late blooming flowers you would like to tell us about? Photographs are also welcome.
The roses at my auntie's dacha are blooming surprisingly late this year. They are a marvel to behold!
My lavender are just finishing off and I have 3 Meyer lemons on a tree I just brought inside, almost ripe. If I can figure out the freakin photo thing, I’ll take a picture.
Oh and chili’s. They‘re still going strong.
Usually my roses are blooming too, but I killed them this year. Didn‘t mean to, alas....black thumbs.
side note: just harvested my office habanero plant. spicy af
We had pale pink roses in bud and bloom last week, but they got battered by the rain. This morning, the dark pink roses next to them have got large buds about to bloom.
I have an apache chili plant - hundreds of small really hot chili’s. Also hot af.
Not exactly a flower, but we have a good sized Liquid Ambar tree in the garden which is absolutely beautiful every autumn.
Last rose in the garden and a bud.
not one fokkin tomato!
Two buds, even! One over there on the right, obscured by leaves, no?
A few roses, chrysanthemums and pelargoniums still blooming here.
We've got chillis in the conservatory. Just turning orange.
Hampshire, UK: my Lady of Shalot is still going strong. Not dead headed in months as it's been pissing down here since September.
Anyone else got an Elvis Costello song in their head?
I am not a rose fan but I did find this pic of the roses i took in my MIL garden...she is a huge gardener...IMO the best garden in Thurgau!
My roses look very rough around the edges and droopy compared to your MIL's. I blame the rain..
MIL spends alot of time and sometimes uses a gardener (or consultant of some sort) plus she's had 40 yrs experience!
Yes these are still blooming strongly. Don't know the name
That's a Hollyhock.
All of my family, me included, want photos ?
