Running partner(s) Zug

Awesome! I'd like a combination of road and trail probably, but trail is always my preference. Very flexible though.

Happy to start a group!

Look forward to your PM

Another 'me too' please 😀

Evenings and weekends suit best, any terrain, distance or pace. Usually I run solo but being in a group might increase my running regularity.

I also just joined the group mentioned above which was defending nicely dormant 😎

Been there and tried this.... for some reason this topic comes up and then fades away, seems like everyone prefers running alone with their music and staring straight ahead...

Anyone heard of the Holgrotten Harriers? I've seen their name in various runnin event results lists and someone told me that they are quite a large running club in Zug.

Tried locating their contact details on the internet but nada... could not find anything.

Off for a run on my own..., will check back in next week and hopefully find a response or 2

oh ja, don't forget to smile at the other runners :-)

So it seems there is interest from people here but nothing concrete. So here goes nothing...

I am going for a run on Friday 5th early evening, probably about 5pm...roughly.

I plan to leave from the Lussiweg area of Zug and maybe head along into Baar and then to the lake and back in a big circle...or...open to offers of something different. It can be a run of 5 or 6 miles, or shorter/longer if you like.

PM me if you want to join, not sure I should share my phone number here

To AshleyfrmKS, Trail is my preference too - but will run on road too if essential,

I`m currently training for some event runs, around switzerland - poss marathon in Dolomites. I find it keeps the motivation up to have a trail running race to go to, thats just me, otherwise I would cop out

Next run for me is a Sunday morning run from Arth to top of Rigi, 11.3 K. I found the route on http://www.arth-online.ch/berglauf/

I can`t make that Friday run - but hopefully there are some takers. Maybe the running circle in Zug is too niche, keep us posted,

I run with Holgrotten harriers, it's run as a secret Facebook group, can add you if you like. Basically it's aimed at non-working spouses, usually with 2-3 organised sessions a week, though less so during school holidays.

FRIDAY after work?? But but that's beer time and i only run km's

Sorry wont be able to make it

Ah ok...thanks for the feedback

Do you have weekend training runs together and is it open to working types of both sexes? Missus and i both run and both work 100%

It's pretty much open to anyone, male/female but predominantly the runs are midweek usually after kids have been dropped at school. Not much done at the weekends I'm afraid.

For anyone still interested i heard about this running group in Baar who just started up:

Link came back "This page isn't available" to me...

Hmmm

Thanks for checking, it seems to work only while logged into Face book

If that still does not work just search for Baar Striders when logged into Face Book
