Salam & Hello to everyone!

Guten Tag to all

My name is Zulfeqar and I come from Afghanistan. I arrived in Switzerland 11 months ago, and having spent several months in an asylum transit center, I am now in the community.

Currently I reside and work in Kusnacht, ZH ( I just got my first salary after months of being unemployed ! ). Today happens to be my day off, and I resume work for 6 days out of 7 at a restaurant.

In my previous months at the transit center, I was an unofficial translator from Farsi to English and vice-versa.

I joined this forum to expand my social networks to include persons who speak / read / write English , Deutsch as well as Farsi. I am keen to contribute as well as to learn from this forum and beyond.

I miss home, and of my family. I have no idea where they are and am awaiting for agencies to track them.

Any communication by email or PM will be answered as I welcome expansion of social networks.

Have a good day.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen

Zulfeqar

Welcome!

I know the days of the week in Farsi, so I'm sure we can have a fascinating conversation about, erm week days sometime...

Anyway, it's good to see you on the forum - I hope you can make it to one of the events soon.

Khoda Hafez!

Welcome to Switerland, I hope you are enjoying it.

It's very sad to hear about your family and I hope you find them and are reunited soon.

I watched a TV programme the other day about the tower of Jam, you have a beautiful country with some ancient treasures and I hope that things will settle down and allow people to get on with their daily life and see these relics.

As with so many things in the world so few people make the decisions and spoil life for the rest of us.

May peace be with you.

How about the 21st of May i believe they have a nice group of guys who go, it is normally organised by unclemax, and i can vouch for him he his really nice
