Samsung Galaxy S II i9100... new Android beast of a phone about to be released.

Trust me mate I was the same (coming from a Motorola Milestone) and while I do miss it, you just get used to not having one. The Gingerbread keyboard is good, and you just need to practise.

Instantly responsive, stuck to finger.

As for multitouch points... is 10+ enough? http://domarmstrong.blogspot.com/201...uch-tests.html

Is there a way to support two SIM cards in the phone through an adapter? It doesn't have to be active, I'm happy with manual switching (just, I don't want to have to carry 2 phones).

Yes, same ones as in use for other phones, requires cutting etc I think. You'll need to research them yourself though.

It should be coming sometime this week In the end I decided to stick with Orange since they offered me an early upgrade, Swisscom was just too uncompetitive and inflexible for my liking.

I bought an extra case by mistake, and have a spare screen protector... so email me your address and I shall send them to you as a phonewarming gift.

How early did they let you upgrade? My two years is up in....ummmmmm.....October...

A bit early I guess though

Log into your account and check the 'My Offers' page. My contract ends mid-August so it was almost 3 months early.

Will give them a call. I only have some stupid value text bundle in the offers section

After such a review from Richdog, I'll be dumb to not go for that phone...

Do they have phones in Spain?

Are you sure? its quite a big phone

Apparently yes!

And Subway and KFC too....

I'll say it to your Missus.... Oh, you are in trouble!

And brown sugar

Do they have KFC delivery though?

Why? To see if you can order it with the Samsung Galaxy SII i9100?

If you want, I can do a market research.... need some sponsors though!

Bloody hell!!

Orange says I have to wait until the start of August for an early upgrade

I guess it will put me in a good position to choose between this, the sensation and the new iPhone

Absolutely no regrets, but £220 for the previous Galaxy S is an absolute bargain it suddenly makes the Orange San Fran look its price.

Also SGS2 on mobiles.co.uk is only 25 pounds per month for 24 months with a one off charge of 45 quid!
