Samsung smart tv: keyboard usability

Hi,

So, I finally bought the Samsung UE40D6530. Which is an awesome TV, but I was hoping to use the web-browser and youtube. Typing is horrible. I need some help. If you have any of the smart tv and have found a way to use the keyboard please post.

Ok, so another option would be to connect with my Macbook Pro with the HDMI cable. Has anyone tried that ? Does the sound work ? I want to try it out first before investing another 50CHF on the cables and adapters.

I can't speak for your specific set up, but generally yes, HDMI carries sound and I'd be very surprised if it didn't from a Macbook.
