Sanitary items from German online shop

Hello

Has anyone experienced buying sanitary items like - Showerheads, WC, Glasswand, etc. from online shops in Germany.

We are looking at options for our Neubau and prices in Sanitas Troesch in comparison are almost double.

I am particularly interested in reviews of Megabad.com, if anyone has had any experiences.

I've heard they're megabad.

We've used Reuter.de before.

No problems with them although a bathroom cabinet was shipped to us with the wrong finish but it wasn't Reuter's fault as the sealed box had the correct article number on the label but thw wrong cabinet inside the box

It was the manufacturer at fault.

Reuter's picked up the old one and delivered a new one to us at no cost and with no fuss which was great.

Was that just a joke, or real experience behind ?

I redone one bathroom, and now redoing the second. Most sanitary items were bought in Germany, delivered to a German address and then collected when we visited the inlaws. Substantially cheaper.

In one case, found the same sink (brand/model) for 5x less...
