Coop are once again offering a day travel pass for just CHF 49. Available until 18 Feb and must be used by March 11. No halbtax required.
I know someone who can use it to stake out Prontos.
I wanted to write that Gemeinde Tageskarte is cheaper, but after a check discovered that it not that far away anymore.
Monday till Friday Fr. 41.00
Saturday and Sunday Fr. 48.00
Depends on your Gemeinde. It's CHF 40.00 at mine, regardless of the day of the week on which you travel.
If you plan ahead, you can buy a Tageskarte for 29.- * at SBB. Saver Day Pass
Also you can find 1st Class Tageskarte for 49.- * or sometimes even for 39.- *
* - with halbtax (Half-Fare travelcard)
Added to bookmarks.
Personally, I think all public transport in Switzerland should be free. Would also solve the road congestion problem.
provided you have the halbtax and travel midweek
Weekend and halbtax-free prices also available on that link above.
Also weekends if you book early. Price of today for a saturday in a month:

I am looking to buy Schnupper Halbtax (Halbtax valid for 2 months). Unfortunately, this is not a regular product and cannot be bought at the counter without a voucher. Sometimes, these vouchers are printed in regional magazines/newspapers. In case anyone has a valid voucher or knows where to find one, please do let me know...
Not sure if you found this - but in any case:
Was looking again for the CHF 49 COOP SBB day card on COOP website, but couldn't find.
Instead I found https://www.interdiscount.ch/de/mobi...E&gclsrc=aw.ds
Back for 2021: https://www.interdiscount.ch/de/mobi...E&gclsrc=aw.ds
https://www.coop.ch/de/haushalt-tier...uct-pos-search
Interdiscount lets you buy them in the stores too.
Purchase dates: 16. August bis 12. September 2021
Redeemable 16. August bis 03. Oktober 2021
October 3 is when they expire.
IME those special day-tickets are never redeemable, these are no exception.
