My G&Ts can continue, relatively guilt free
I have been emptying supermarket shelves in France on a regular basis and it appears I was not the only one.
I have been pestering Schweppes for the past 4 years and received the following reply a few weeks ago -
Dear Mr Parry
Thanks a lot for your interest in the brand Schweppes and your inquiry about Tonic slimline/light. I have received your eMail from Orangina Schweppes International. Therefore, please excuse my late reply.
In fact, yes we have just launched Tonic zero in Switzerland. You can find it in bigger Coop stores in a sixpack 6x50cl PET bottle, next week at an introductory offer of CHF 9.60 instead of 10.80.
Refreshing regards,

Just goes to show perseverance can pay off.
I've yet to try it myself.
I'm sure it'll taste strange at first just as most 'zero' sodas do, but I'm just hoping I can get over it. I drink too many G&Ts and am really eager to convert to zero, just as I have done with cola.
You could try rinsing a glass with Elderflower Cordial and then fill with diet tonic.
Paul Ullrich AG stock Fevertree Elderflower Tonic Water but it is not diet.
