Excited to say that we are about to relocate from Munich, Germany to the charming city of Zug, Switzerland. I've landed a job that comes with an annual income of over 130k as a German citizen. As I prepare for this exciting transition, I'm seeking guidance on registering in Zug, obtaining a Permit B, and any tips you might have.
Joining me on this adventure are my wife and our newborn. While we hunt for the ideal flat, I'm debating whether to stay in a hotel until I secure the Permit B, or to apply once we find a permanent home before starting work.
If any of you have insights into the Permit B process for EU citizens already in the EU, your advice would be greatly appreciated.
We've also considered Schwyz, but the longer travel times to Zürich have us leaning towards Zug. Any local tips or recommendations for life in Zug would be a huge help.
