Sell property after B permit holder leaves Switzerland?

Hi,

From what I learned so far, B permit holders can buy a house for primary residence. If a B permit holder leaves Switzerland, then I heard that he/she has to sell that primary residence in one year? Can he/she simply keep it without renting? Like for example as a secondary residence in Switzerland while primary residence is abroad (non-EU)?

Besides, I heard that if you acquired the house for less than 5 years, then there's a high capital gain tax (50%) when you sell the property. If there's no capital gain, will there be any other kind of "unusual" tax for selling the house? Where could I find more information on this?

Thanks!

Here are the guidelines:

Yes, capital gains tax can be very high if you try and sell early. It’s designed to stop people making quick profits. The actual rate will depend on the canton the property is located in. Your cantonal tax office can tell you more.
