Hi all
Being relatively new to Switzerland im not fully clear on the ins and outs of car marketplaces available, to sell a second hand car. Some appear both as primary listers (autoscout24, anibis), but also aggregators (Comparis, autoscout).
Do people have a view of the most effective way to list a car both in terms of reach, value for listing and best providers?
Thanks in advance
Tutti(German anibis basically) and Facebook Marketplace are also platforms to get some hits.
I would stick with autoscout24 since its the gold standard here in Switzerland. It will get rolled up into the searches of Comparis et al since they are aggregators as you say. Anibis and Tutti are Craigslist/Gumtree type of classified sites with limited search options (e.g. you cannot select individual accessories, horsepower etc..), but since they're free its worth a shot if you don't mind some element of scam artists and timewasters.
One final point, if you use Autoscout you need to remember that every price change you make will be logged on Comparis (in the history section of each car advert). So try and think of a price and stick to it without wild fluctuations up and down because to a buyer that looks pretty dodgy.
Thanks for the great advice Castro
