Hi to all,
I recently had one libre 3 sensor that stopped working on the 7th day, so I called the company for a replacement.
I am quite sure that they asked me to send the defective sensor, and as I understood, the replacement package would have a box or something to send back the defective sensor.
I received today the replacement but no instructions or something for sending back the defective. I could call them again, but my German isn't great.
Anyone has experience with this?
Thanks!
Over the years I’ve had a mixed experience with replacements. Sometimes they send you a plastic hazard bag. Sometimes they don’t. Once they sent a bag but I forgot to return it. Never heard another word ...
When you call them to tell them about the defective sensor, after they quiz you, they will decide whether they want the defective sensor back or not. I guess if, for example, it just fell off, they aren't going to learn much from it, so there's not much point in sending it back.
If they want it back they'll include a return pack with the replacement sensor.
Thanks both of your answers! Then I won't worry about contacting them.
They quized me during the phone call, as it didn't drop off, but really stopped working. I even told by phone the error codes that were received from the sensor before dying.
Mods? Can I make a suggestion? I think the Abbot Sensors are a valid subject for the EF. So perhaps merge the two current threads and rename it “Abbott FreeStyle Libre Sensors.
I’ve been using them for a few years and am happy to provde help and encouragement to (new) users.
