sending glasses back to optician in UK

Hello

I had some glasses made toprescription in the UK.

Unfortunetley the lenses are incorrect and need to be replaced.

Goinng to the post office this morning , I was told I had to fill in a cutoms declaration

I understand I need to get a barcode from swiss post and fill in details on line.

Do I have to pay fee to return this item to england or when they send them back to me,

Did you have to pay customs charges when they arrived?

If when you send them back you put a low value, and "return" on them then that should avoid charges from the UK. Ask the optician when they send them back to mark it as a "repair" on the documents and put a low value and you shouldn't have to pay further charges when they come back.
