It is neither good, nor bad for me. Although I have a ladder, and know where to rent others (should the need arise), knowing where you could rent a ladder has not benefitted me in any substantial way.
To the question of if this is good for you or not, I would say that the answer is still the subject of debate.
At the moment I would say that this state of affairs might best be described as "not particularly good for you", but that remains to be seen. You might learn from it, you might not.

I don't care. I just wanted some help, and made the mistake of using what I thought could be a nice forum in a sea of bullshit ones, since I found helpful information here before. All I have learned is that I'm thankful not to be on this all the time, with nothing better to do than post snarky shit all day every day. What a fun phase it was, though.
PS-- The guys who previously said they could install it called back and won't charge me for the ladder. Case closed.
