Most workshop/garage shelves are of the free-standing modular type.
The brackets are on available but most people seem to use them with those yellow formwork panels as shelves which are incredibly strong.
Check if you are allowed, but I don't care, and have a good relationship with the landlord, who told me that if I rent a fourth, he'll build me a portico to connect them all!

thanks
It is a system of rails (different lengths) that you fix into the wall with screws/plugs adapted to the wall and the weight you want to put on the rack. Add more screws at the top to prevent pulling from the wall. I would suggest using the longest ones so you run from floor to ceiling. I think the max length is 1995mm.
Here is what they look like. Normally available in white, grey, black and galvanized colour (depending on stock by size etc.).

The second photo on the page shows an example of an installation. They also come in a version with only one slot. Go for the double version shown. The clip on system "arms" (link below) comes in single or double. I would suggest using the double version or 2x the single arms for extra security. 2x the single arms might give you more weight coverage but is more expensive than the double version. The details are listed on the sticker for each arm. Look in store.
The arms come in different lengths. The maximum on the double system is only 470mm while on the single one it is 600mm. The longer single one hooks into the rail at three points.

Here is the entry page for the system, so you can have a look around.

Once you have the system you want, you can find the wood shelving you want. It can be nicely finished for indoor use, unvarnished wood or the yellow sheets used in construction (mentioned in a previous post). Hornbach should have all of these options in the wood section.
