Would anyone have any suggestion or idea on furniture for a few months?
The storage before and after the rental being the major problem.

I will open a small pop up for a few months this summer and rather than investing in furniture I would wonder if it’s possible to rent second hand or approach a brocki/similar to use short term and sell/promote for them (perhaps with fee).
Perhaps one thing you could consider is looking for "gratis" (free) or very cheap, used furniture on tutti.ch (and ricardo.ch). A lot of people list items for free on tutti and are just happy to get rid of it so that they don't have to pay for or deal with the disposal.
Then once you're done with it, perhaps you could list it on there for free again and hopefully someone would take it. Otherwise, you could just bring it to a dump and pay a disposal fee.

There are a few vintage/commercial upcycling type outlets in Zurich.... I'd imagine those are more likely to do a commercial arrangement with you.
There is such an incredible oversupply of second-hand stuff in Zurich, I'm all for re-using and repurposing things. However, the time taken to run around and find what you need....could be substantial....
You could try Irma and Fred at Claramattweg 16, 4057 Basel (Kleinbasel). They rent second hand furniture out for things like parties and events, so might be able to help you.

Yes I thought about tutti and so but even if they are cheap and sell fast storage will likely be an issue.
I’ll try a mix of things maybe but will certainly see if any local second hand places would be happy to get involved somehow.
I say second hand as I don’t really want a bigger risk with a new item getting damaged.
