Are we Android users all doomed now? Is Apple having the last laugh? Is this why Google stock is crashing?

I don’t think Google’s stock is crashing because of their phones.
Actually dont think so either. More like their OS is not getting the support it needs to be less vulnerable. But assume it is a day 1 problem.
Wait a min…the attack makes calling impossible:
Security researcher Mark Blaszczyk discovered the flaw, which involves a specially crafted text message that Android struggles to process. Unlike a normal SMS, it never appears in your inbox, so you won’t see a suspicious notification or unfamiliar sender to warn you. Instead, the message crashes the system that handles phone calls, immediately disconnecting ongoing conversations, including calls to emergency services.
I’ve been dreaming of this for a long time. A phone with no “phone” features, no more spam calls!
