Totally illegal in DE–they are a protected species that cannot be interfered with during reproductive time, and the garden dormouse is in the “critically endangered” category. I’d call it “Can’ttouchthis.”
Edit: not only will the kits die, they will stench up the attic like you can’t believe…there are few smells as bad as a dead mouse.
