Have any of your been to the Singapore airport? What did you like most about your experience?

and have any of your flown with the A380, do you know how they solve the problem with the 800 at the baggage claim?

The best thing about Singapore airport is that you can fly to Zürich.

Great airport. Lots to eat and shop if you are interested. But you can't smoke there.

Of course you can - the balcony bar is THE feature that makes SIN the number one airport in my books. After hours of flight you can finally go outside to sit among plants, have a beer, enjoy the weather and fresh air (as fresh as can be in the middle of an airport) and have a smoke too!

Without that feature, it would be one among many airports..

Really. Thank you for letting me know. The last time I was there, I was told that I couldn't smoke there..

We flew via Singapore airport to New Zealand from Manchester, and I can honestly say that the best thing about it was the windowless airport hotel room where we got a few hours shut-eye.

Hi,

I remember it being a great airport and of course I love Singapore. I have eaten some of the best food that I have ever eaten there. We flew with Singapore Air on A380 to Sydney via Singapore and had a excellent journey. On the way back we sat upstairs as there also economy seats there. The great thing is that there are 2 seats rather 3 seats which means if there are two of you travelling no one has to get the crap middle seat.

I enjoyed the flight and watched loads of films. I don't remember there being any problems with collecting our baggage.

There used to be a public swimming pool on the roof, is it still there?

I lived in Penang Malaysia for 3 years, and much later I spent 9 weeks working in Singapore. I feel sorry for the natives, I didn't find it a very nice place at all.

Best business class experience EVAAAAAR!!! And now thinking back to my last flight from CDG where I had to stand in line for 30 minutes just to drop my luggage in business :P
