I'd like to buy a new pair of boots for ski touring and I'm looking for recommendations of professional ski boot fitters in Zug, or the surrounding area.
I've run a Google search, which returns the following results:
https://www.stoeckli.ch/chde/shops/ski/bootfitting (6330 Cham)
https://www.mass-skischuh.ch/ (8840 Einsiedeln)
https://www.kryenbuehl.ch/#kontakt (8840 Einsiedeln)
https://pro-skirental.ch/bootfitting/ (8800 Thalwil)
https://www.sportschuhfitting.ch/wintersport/ (6374 Buochs)
https://www.gubler-sport.ch/ (8910 Affoltern am Albis)
Has anyone tried any of the above? I've read that the boot fitters at Stöckli in Cham are quite good. Has anyone tried them?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
Michael Rieble at the Buochs shop listed above is very good. You will pay for it though. I have also heard good things about somebody at the Cham Stoeckli shop being a good bootfitter.
If you have funky feet and you can convince your doctor that you need professional help, you might get your insurance company to offset the costs.
I go with Stockli Cham got my last 2 pairs there excellent,
The guys there really know their stuff.
Is there a particular boot fitter there that I should try to book an appointment with, or do they all know their stuff? I saw the name Andreas mentioned in various places.
I don’t know if Andreas is there still there is a guy called Max fitted my last pair he’s also really good.
Excellent, thanks for the tip. I think I might give him a try.
If you can make it over the hill to Richterswil, I can recommend Hans Vetsch at Sportis. He sorted out my previous pair of boots that a "recommended" "boot fitter" in Courchevel had done (too tight, caused permanent nerve damage in my big toe), and then fitted my current pair of boots several years ago, but they're still great.

One thing to bear in mind, though, is you almost certainly won't be able to get anything done until after the end of Feb now with the new lockdown
