My friends will be visiting me in December and we are planning to go skiing in Belalp. Is there any places for ski clothing rental near Zürich (where I am staying)? They ski the first time so they don't have any jackets nor pants...
As far as ski rental goes, you're probably best to rent them directly at the resort to save you having to schlep them all the way there.
For clothes, what sizes are you looking for? M/F? Kids? I've got a girl's outfit you could have for nothing (11-12 yrs).

I've done this before with some visitors and figured out that it is much cheaper to rent from the ski resort directly, because then you get a package deal with equipment and lift tickets. We went to the larger resorts, and surprisingly one of the shops in Flumserberg had it too, but I guess because they do get a lot of day trippers from Zurich.
I suggest you call the biggest ski shop there, or in the next biggest village.
