Skiing lessons around zurich - Looking for a group or partner

Hello There,

I have recently moved to Zurich from London. As winter is up I am planning to learn Skiing (..i am a beginner )

Thinking of joining a group or create my own little one. Happy to do a “once a week trip to Flumserberg”.

I did take private classes in Flumserberg last year but I got little bored after few classes. I think doing group training will be far more fun and hopefully more productive.

Anyone interested in joining me or looking for a partner/group member then please PM me

Thanks:

Deepak

Did you see if the Zurich International Ski Club still has spots... however they get full quick.

What level of skier are you, types of pistes and turns you can do (e.g. Blue pistes, snow plough parallel on gentle sections..... Or red runs skiing parallel except when steeper) We often have people looking for group lessons so can suggest people to join up with for lessons in Engelberg. I am a ski instructor working for Prime in Engelberg.

Hello Danny,

I guess I am too late to see your message (today ) ; classes are already halfway through.Thank you for your advice though - I am a beginner so I will usurly use this school next year

Thanks:

Deepak

Hi Skichick, I am a beginner - a complete novice but the issue is I cant drive all the way to engelberg - its lill far (for me) from Zurich for a day trip. Thanks for the offer though..

Hoch-Ybrig is probably closest bet and there are a couple of native english speakers and quite a few good english speaking instructors, only downside is you'd probably have to organise your own group.

Until 2nd Weekend in February they are very busy with ICS school so most of the instructors that speak better english are with the school groups.

Hi,

Did you find a skiing lesson. I am interested too

Many of our guests do exactly that, from Zurich, Basel, even Bern. By car or by rail it's quite do-able. From the airport, for example, it's just a little over an hour by car.
