Skiing near Zurich with dedicated kids area

We are looking for a ski resort/place not that far from Zurich (i.e. 1-1.5h drive by car), where 6-7 year old, who already knows how to break and turn, could practice further without parent leading/assisting (but with supervision). I.e. some easy longer hill with magic carpet and not button or t-bar lift. At the same time, there could be some runs for adults too (blue-red) with some basic infrastructure. Brunni-Alpthal, Hoch-Ybrig, Flumserberg is not really up to that from my experience. The only one I found by browsing internet - Brunni in Engelberg, with dedicated 2 kids parks, but not sure of that is good in real life. Many thanks in advance for an advise!

Sattelegg? Thats where my kids learned to ski....

Thanks a lot for a suggestion, but I see it is really small, suitable mainly for kids, thus is having t-bar lift... Anyways, thank you for an idea!

Kids learn far faster than their parents, they don't need a big area, they can ski the mountain very quickly......

I will suggest Stoos area in Kanton Schwyz it's 40 min with Car.

I'm not really sure what you are looking for. Your kid wants to take lessons but only wants to ride on a magic carpet? The Klostermatte at the Brunni in Engelberg has a magic carpet and a couple of drag lifts as well. Enroll your kid in a class and let the teacher show them how to ride a drag lift. The magic carpet for a 6-7 year old will grow tiring pretty quickly.

You can get on the tram and head up to the slopes higher up on the Brunni. The Brunni should keep you entertained for a few hours.

It's a bit far from Zurich, though. There are much closer resorts which are suitable for kids.

We were in that phase with our kids.. now seems so long ago, they are way better than us now.

But the long, easy slopes with very inexpensive family ticket (including lunch) within 1 hour of Zurich is...

Amden. We have great memories from there, and the views are amazing.

Stoos and Amden are both great for kids. My recommendation is to check them out

Flumsaberg is also great - perfect when drive car straight up
