I've been thinking about it for some time and now just thought, ok, just do it. I'd like to go tandem skydiving this Sunday. Will be my first time. From a very quick search, seems most of the companies are in the Interlaken area and charge around 400- for about 3-4 hours. Anyone interested in joining me? We can make a day trip out of it...maybe include a small hike as well depending on our energy afterward.
I'm not sure where to put this so please suggest another place that might be better.

Go for it, I did one in Eilat. All the fun with minimal training and not having to worry about pulling the cord.
Trust me, energy will not be a problem. My adrenaline high lasted damn near 24 hours the first time I did it.
Though, 12 years later, I'm with Swissbob - I still don't know how I did it without someone telling me the plane was on fire!

I am interested but only if the dates suits. Which knowing that im coming from Geneva and work weird hours its a bit difficult
Skydiving was my whole life for about 6 years when I was back in the UK, I would recommend if you do go for a tandem that you get a video made, you experience the moment time and again if you do as the real thing is over so quickly...

i did a tandem at a place about 25 mins from lorrach - €98 thought it was quite boring though.
Why use an aircraft if there are mountains ? After all you are in Switzerland. I started a paragliding course a month ago and can wholeheartedly recommend it. After two days at the practice hill you will take the cablecar to the top of the mountain and fly to the bottom all by yourself ! .....guided by your instructor on the radio, of course
In your post you mentioned hiking. Paragliding and hiking can be combined into wonderful 'hike & fly' excursions.

Try the drop zone in Triengen...very good. It is a fantastic feeling...this week looks good for weather..
I just took a bunch of students to Skydive Switzerland, they had a great time, It was a little more expensive but they had a higher maximum weight limit (105kg)
