Sour sop or Fruit from graviola tree

Can someone tell me if this fruit is available here in Switzerland?

Its called the Sour Sop or the fruit from the graviola tree. I came to know from an article that this fruit is miraculous natural cancer cell killer 10,000 times stronger than Chemo.

Many thanks.

Chirimoya!!!!!!!!!! My favourite, but have seen it here only in Turkish shops in Basel

Coop Bahnhofquai sometimes has them (or did when I lived in Zurich.)

More information for those that are interested. This article claims the cancer-fighting properties are in the the stems and leaves, as opposed to the fruit.

It's also known to cause Parkinson's/Neurological diseases if you have too much of it too eh.

cherimoyas are sold in the exotic fruit section in bigger micros.I thought cherimoyas and soursoups are 2 different varieties

So, then, one step forward and two steps back.

I'll stick to Kokopelli bringing me luck...or is it fertility -in which case, forget it!

is it the same as a custard apple ?

Yes, same fruit

In Malaysia, custard apple has soft pulp when ripe (with numerous black seeds). Soursop is a different species, I think.

it looks like guanabana. yummy! so good for juices. i have seen it in the asian stores. in the states you could also buy the pulp in the frozen section of the grocery store, not sure if they have that here.

good to know it has the qualities, i'll make sure to find some and drink it more often

No custardapple also called sugar apples is different from cherimoya.

It is of course mainly BS that the fruit has any anti-cancer properties at all (see here for example), let alone the nonsensical 10,000 times.

There is one study on mice indicating that graviola extract (not the same as eating the fruit) may have some effect on breast cancer. The connection between the fruit and Parkinsons is on much firmer ground.

In the Caribbean custard apple is the same as sugar apple, but is not the same as soursop.
