Speed camera types

These wretched things have apparently spent the summer breeding in vaud. Ther are now 3 in 10k up the hill to villars plus the average one on the motorway already mentioned and others in the local area.

These cameras are of a new type type to me and was wondering if they shot cars from the front or back or both. Cant appear to find any pictures of them on the web, they are mounted on poles about 10ft up all on the downhill side of the road in the case of the ollon-villar road.

Would be interesting if they forget to turn hem off for the annual hill climb!
