SRG SSR Sat Access card expired

Hello,

I'm new here so please be gentle. I hope someone can help.

Up until last week we were watching Swiss TV via satellite since we don't have a TV aerial or cable.

The viewing card we bought about 6 years ago seems to have expired and now that we've just got a new LCD TV I was hoping to enjoy a bit more of HD Suisse too.

Since my German isn't very good, does anyone know if I am I supposed to ask/pay for a new card or should I have got one automatically?

There's an email address on the back of the card, [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) . Would it be worth me emailing them in English and asking for a new card or is there some kind of official way of doing this?

Thanks

you should have for one automatically; when did you first get the card? My card I got in the last year and it is a new card so needed no replacing.

What receiver or CAM is it in? It might've gone inactive....

Viacess 2.6 started on 2nd March I think.

And they will reply in English but it takes about a week to get a reply - call them, speak English, see how it pans out.

They turned off the old system and switched on a new one.

The way I read the article, the card exchange is free. YMMV.

I would just contact their customer service by e-mail or phone.

Thanks for the responses. Since it's about 6 years old I will try and get a new one via customer service. I wonder why I didn't get one automatically.
