Did you get a refund already? Still waiting?
These guys can take money from your credit/debit card in microseconds, but it takes months to reverse the transactions?
Also had an update for the EasyJet app last week. One thing being added was the ability for them to accept their own vouchers for payment. What took so long?
I don't want a voucher, I probably won't fly this year and actually the prices are crazy for the rest of the year for routes they are opening, only those routes they can fill. Might be some time before they open less lucrative routes.
In the end I emailed following address: [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected])
You have to put in a a subject title like this, booking ref/date/EN They won't respond if you don't, in the email text explain you're requesting refund due to covid
K16X3NH/23.04.20/EN. This was what I put in subject line
We managed to get money back in bank account a week later. Hopefully that email address is still on the go, I wonder if they might have changed it by now, they seemed to have done everything to avoid paying refunds!
Hope it helps!

Only takes 90 seconds to book a flight, 90 days to refund it is crap.
My Easyjet flight was cancelled in April. I have immediately asked for a refund and still nothing. But then Swiss is equally non-responsive..... they had even closed off the refund request page so you had to call them......

You might not even be in the queue.
How long after you requested the refund did the confirmation email come? You ́re right, just the confirmation on the website but no email confirmation.
I've had two (horrible) experiences dealing with EasyJet concerning refunds due to delay/ cancellations. The long waiting time was expected, and you must be persistent with follow-up emails. The first time, after some email exchanges over a few months' time, they told me that they sent me a cheque by post although they asked for my bank account details previously. Obviously, I never received the cheque (and I seriously think they were just lying). In the end, I had to resort to aviation dispute resolution services both times. Luckily, these services were free! (not the kind of companies that take commission from you)

It's a lot of peoples money they are sitting on .. 500.- or so for me plus a couple of million other people in a similar holding pattern.
I requested a refund on April 20th and got the money back in my account on Friday (12th June).
I received an email confirmation for my refund request with 24 hours. You also get an e-mail just before the money arrives.
Thanks for that. I tried again (and again and again) and now finally have an email with a reference number to the fund request.
Not on my card yet, hopefully in a few days..
