I am interested in learning more about what goes on in these places. What is the cost of drinks, and for the entertainers drinks? What is the cost for a dance? Or even the little rooms? Is this stuff legal? Personally want to know. I hope not to offend anyone, just need to know.

It is a place for men to enjoy the company of women without

strings attached. Like everything in Switzerland, it is expensive.

These clubs can be like topless bars in the US with tabledances, or you can negotiate services with the ladies.

Beer will be expensive, girls will stir the champagne to death and you can get laid in them.

I'd only complain about the price of the beer and the ruining of the champagne if I was you

I'm no expert, but I believe people take their clothes off. And yes of course it's legal.

What a weird thread... though i'm guessing hubby or boyfriend is going there with his mates or something, hence the worried interest.

You could always try going to one yourself to really get an idea of what it's like? That is a serious suggestion by the way.

I already know what and where he was.. Now getting to the bottom of it! Why do men cheat? I have to know if this is what he did! He claims he just bought drinks.. but spent over 500CHF! I do not know how the system works here, and am I just blind?

A bottle of champagne or spirits will cost a FORTUNE in strip-clubs, easily 200 CHF without breaking a sweat. It's also good odds that he had a lap dance... which although likely distasteful to you, is generally acceptable for a bloke and is not cheating... hence why very popular on stag do's. Switzerland makes London look cheap when it comes to strip clubs.

If you trust your man then there's no need to get too worried... we guys like to do stuff like this now and again to blow off steam. It doesn't mean he's cheating or that he doesn't love you, and you may be not-so surprised to know that he still does look at other women.

Never been in one of those places, but it would surprise me if 500CHF bought much more than entry and a few rounds of drinks.

NOT speaking from experience, but from knowing guys who can, 500.- will get you a LOT more than entry and drinkies

500chf can get you "action" in one of these places... but it can also be the cost of a single bottle of champagne.

It depends entirely on the establishment as the Cabarets in the middle of Zurich or Geneva may very well end up being considerably more expensive than those out in the smaller villages.

Typically, buying a bottle of Champagne is all part of the deal of getting laid in them. i.e. 200chf for the operator (owner of the club) and 200 for the girl (to strut their stuff with you).

500chf doesn't mean sex. besides, a strip club doesn't count as cheating. it's kinda like the 'different country rule' you can think of a strip club like an embassy and having it's own territory, rules and laws

Not at all.. Just stupidity! I had the dog problem not him. That has been going good. He claimed to go valentines day shopping, but was gone for 7 hours. Came home after 10:30. Dummy used his credit card.. I found out, and asked him.
