The shutter in our house was put down but there was something underneath it on the floor (yes I know the floor should have been checked😒 . So, one side went to the floor but the other side didn't as it was sitting on the object. So we put the shutter up, removed the object and went to put the shutter down. However for some reason it's still stuck on a wonky angle. We've tried easing it down but don't want to break it completely. So before my husband decides he can fix it does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can fix it or can you recommend a shutter repairer ? We are in the Thalwil area. Thanks
Might suggest searching tel.search.ch on "Storen, Thalwil", e.g.,

Look for the name of the shutterer manufacturer.Somewhere on the blind you should find a tag.
Otherwise call the property owner/manager and ask them who to contact.
If you try to fix it yourself this might make matters worse.
What sort of shutter is it?
It it one of those newer ones with nylon cords and (usually) grey plastic or aluminium slats? It may be that the cord on the side that won't go down is hooked around another part of the shutter.
We've had the same thing a couple of times and a close examination usually yields results.
As others have said, brute force will just break something.
It may help if you take a photo and put it on here.
I found the name of the shutter fitter on the shutters, so will give them a call. Thanks to everyone for their inputs. My husband has been told to keep well clear of them until they are fixed!
From the look of it, your shutter has been forced out of the guide channel.
It is a relatively easy fix if you have the tools, patience and a mechanical knack. And are careful with the application of brute force.
If not entirely sure, let the specialist man* do it.

Ian
* may be a specialist woman. Not sexist here.
I'm really sure you could figure out what is wrong and click them back into place.
As I said, we've done that loads of time when someone has left a plant pot or something on the window sill.
A big thank you for all your suggestions. We tried to ease it but it didn't work so we've booked someone to come and sort it out.
