Student Visum

Evening y'all

I am planning to study in Switzerland next year and started the visa process already (collecting every document), thought, there is this unclear thing.

Under "Certified translation of Diplomas and school certificates, there is a "study plan" needed to be officially translated.

I really dont have any idea what that is. Anybody could give me some info?

Thanks in advance

Not sure, but I guess it is a detail of the credits/number of hours, per subject, which you studied in your bachelors or high school.

Studienplan = syllabus / curriculum.

i.e. what was the content of the various certificates you present - probably came as an annex with the certificate.

hmm, could a transcript work?

I looked up on the internet and some were explaining the study plan as if they get the visa and get admitted to that university, the plan of their studies there, when they think they are going to graduate, how many hours they are going to study etc. but on the visa application, as I could understand it, its mentioning it as "PREVIOUS diplomas, study plan".

Thank you guys for your help!

Yes I assume a transcript would be fine, but I don't know.

It seems to be more a translation problem - the original form in German says "Studienplan", which literally translated means Study Plan but is better translated as syllabus/curriculum.

In English, plan suggests forward looking - which is not the case here, from context it's clearly referring to the certificates mentioned in the same sentence.

Well yea actually, it makes sense.

Anyway, thank you so much for your help! 😇
