The point is....help? Does anyone know how to best go about this. I looked at a service apartment today that rents per month, but it was not doable, AT ALL. Think smoky, dark, tiny room with saggy bed. Went to a college and found a sublet posted, SO EXCITING, of course she rented it out three days ago. Imagine my depression. That's all I got. I'm looking at cercaetrova, homegate, immoscout24, some random sublet sight, the newspaper piccoli annunci.
Should I start knocking on random doors?
there is wgzimmer.ch and sometimes they have just studios that are not shared. since you don't really describe what your looking for (probably because the moderators will things its too much like an ad) I'm not sure if this will help.

I just managed to sublet my room for this month and let me give you my personal tip; try writing a great description of yourself and then you can copy any paste it into applications, and then modify/tailor it slightly.
I just remember that was what I did when I was looking for a place in paris and every time i would send it, it got better and better. thats why i get a little annoyed when people here just reply with
"im interested in the room, is it still available?"
especially with a sublet as you are kinda borrowing someones home, so they want to know who is going into it.
