Looking for suggestions where to host an Apero in Zurich. Requirements are:
- 20-30 people in the city or Shilcity area
- Light nibbles and beer/wine
- Doesn't have to be fancy, somewhere that won't break the bank

Fork & Bottle - they have a room upstairs for these types of events and are very fair on their prices.
We had a party there a few years back and were pleased.
Another option is Binz & Kunz - they have their Winter Chalet up (no direct experience though).
Perhaps give the zoo a call.

This time of year may be difficult. It could be busy and booked out. A few years a go I used to run a drinks event with very similar requirements. It was mid week so wasnt busy. I had it in Dante Bar, Zurich
Its a gin cocktail bar but the wine and beer was really quite cheap. Its a good venue. Atmospheric and cool staff in old style outfits
I used to host loads of aperos like this in the Viadukt market in K5 (not the end of town you're looking for, but not far on a tram). It's cheap (as it's not a restaurant), there are public tables and you can get drinks and food from a number of shops/stalls there. I always found that guests really enjoyed it as it was informal and easy going.
I don't run my shop and bar there anymore but I can pass you on to the new owners if you like.
