After pissing me off with an increase in my bill for ‘inflation’ after I advertising my subscription as a ‘forever’ price, Sunrise have somewhat redeemed themselves today.
I just got an SMS from them saying that they will reduce my monthly subscription from 39 Fr to 34 Fr. from November. Technically, it is not a true reduction as they will likewise reduce the QoQa cashback I receive from 11 Fr to 6 Fr. But since the QoQa credit can only be used for the crap they sell on QoQa, it’s a deal I’m happy to take.
Also, for those on the QoQa deal, they added “We Connect extra SIM watch” for free, so you can connect your Apple or Android watch with cellular data for free (normally 5 chf per month).
Last month our internet dropped out. I phoned Sunrise, who answered fairly promptly and raised a ticket. The Internet then came back on for a few hours, but dropped again.
Another phone call, another agent, another ticket raised.
I asked if there was a problem in our local area. There was. It was fixed in a few more hours and I received 2 phone calls from the 2 agents asking if all was now OK and said I would be charged ½ price in October.
The bill arrived with 2 x ½ removed = nothing!
BTW when one sees “50% forever” - it still means they will raise the base price and give you 50% off that…
Yep, reminds me of the sales talk with purchasers in big industrial companies: “I want 2% Skonto (cash discount for prompt payment), I need to look good to my boss”, me: “we don’t do skonto, I can add it to the price and you take it off as such”. He: “deal”.
