Sunrise TV changed channels around - why?

Seems from today February 18, SRF1 is no longer number 1, but 201 - which was BBC1 - which is now number 1.

All English language channels are 1, 2, 3 etc and Swiss ones in the middle of German language ones. This is going to annoy a lot of Swiss.

WHY did they do it??

Okay, I take note you don’t like researching yourself …

Your TV-box must be set to English. A new feature now sorts your tv-channels according to that

you’re welcome.

Thanks. I did search and was unaware the Sunrise Fan Club even existed.

I would have thought such a major change would have be notified to customers. My Swiss other half went balistic looking for SRF1 while I was out. Of course I was blamed for messing up the channels…

I just searched about the problem you mentioned - sunrise to me is something that happens in the morning, that’s all - maybe doing it in German helped. The sheer idea to make such a change is idiotic, what’s the setting of the box got to do with the preference of channels?

yes, that is an interesting reaction people have; take the most simple explanation and think no further, if there is someone around to revile about it even better.
Hope that makes your OH think. Depending on how bad he was he owes you from tea in bed all the way to an entire breakfast.
