I’ve been looking to try a sunscreen stick as opposed to cream or spray, but I haven’t been able to find any SPF30 ones in Switzerland. Lots of SPF50 but no 30.
Anyone out there who has found any?
Also any comments on using the stick vs other choices would be appreciated.
I use a stick as it’s very practical to use on the scar on my neck following my tyroidectomy but I’ve only ever used the SPF50 ones as I want as much protection as possible.
My favourite is La Roche Posay antihelios stick.

An interesting review for that on Galaxus. But Alas neither of the two mentioned appears to do a 30 SPF.
With my skin I stay pale white with SPF50.
That’s not the one I’ve been using, mine is in a round stick and is white.
I have very pale skin and stay white but I’d rather that than have a skin cancer.

A broad spectrum cream is best and physical blocking such as a sunhat, sleeves etc etc is even better.
I’m always surprised at how effective sun-cream is. I know that most people don’t slather it on to the thickness that dermatologists recommend but I see the effect on bits of my skin that have occasionally missed the sweep of a handful of lotion. That skin is just angry and red while the skin next to it which has been covered is fine.
I usually go the full SPF 50 in case I don’t smear it thickly enough.
