Denver has won twice (1997 and 1998 seasons). Seattle has never won.
Broncos: This will be their 7th time playing in the Superbowl. They won in 1998 and 1999.
Seahawks: This will be their 2nd time but they have no wins so far.

Just to clarify for those unfamiliar with American football - Americans and American media generally report a team won in the year the season started, whereas non-American media will report the year that the championship was actually played. Thus the discrepancy between my post and olygirl's.

I will be cheering for the Broncos and my husband will be cheering for the Seahawks. Unfortunately, I don't think we will even be able to watch because of the timing.

I think it's going to be a great game, and hopefully some of the old, fun rivalry will pop up again. It was great fun growing up to talk smack when those two teams were playing in the same division.

Sorry Assassin, but the Niners-Seahawks game was a travesty WRT officiating... really bad.
But as a CAL alum, I always thought Lynch was amazing. Sherman is just a loser (I expect better from a Stanford alum - doubt he graduated!). I think the NFL wanted Niners-Pats, so I can't really claim a conspiracy... but what the HEll... I thin it was a conspiracy!

This is my first Superbowl in Switzerland. Recommendations as to where to watch?
Looks like Hooters did it a couple years ago, but not clear if they have since. Nelson's maybe is showing it? I've heard of Fork & Barrel doing it. I'm just hoping for a place with good food and a good football atmosphere. I have no dog in this hunt since Tom Terrific couldn't get it done (I miss Gronk!!!! )
