Perhaps I have just been unlucky but every time I have tried to book a ticket in advance recently I have seen this message:
"Supersaver tickets are not or no longer available for this connection"
Has SBB quietly dropped Supersaver tickets?
I just randomly entered a journey on the SBB app and it gave me several super saver options so I guess they’re not discontinued.
What is your route?
SuperSavers are intended to fill otherwise empty seats. They are rarely available on peak services.
But a tip, have a look at first class. There are often SSs there when 2nd no longer haves them. You won’t save a lot vs the 2nd class normal price but you can save something.
SBB discontinued them at the start of the crisis when the train services were restricted, but they seem to have been reinstated now.
