Sushi Restaurant in Zürich

All you can eat at CHF 34,- in Zürich?

There must be a catch with this .

Did you forget a 0 at the end? At that price, you can barely buy sushi as appetizer.

Shinsen (Staffelstrasse 8, 8045 Zürich) is pretty decent. They are both a restauraunt and a supplier to other retailers for sushi

This is very nice sushi restaurant: https://www.negishi.ch/

As a Japanese, I'd say:

Samurai II: https://www.siebensamurai.com/

It's at least authentic. The chef and even the wait staff are Japanese.

Yooji's most Japanese stay away from.

Ginger is ok.

Negishi opposite Kaufleuten wasn't bad.

And for a quick sushi bite, the sushi bar in Globus Bellevue is also ok.

As a non-japanese, I totally agree.

Have you tried Ototo ? I haven't and everyone I talk to says its really good.

Also, Barfüsser isn't bad either.

I just got a flyer for Okinii in Dietikon.

29.90 for the basic rolls all-you-can-eat lunch.

46.90 for the full a-y-c-e menu at dinner.

Havn't tried it yet, so no idea on the quality.

I have tried a few (Nigishi, Yoojis, Bimis, Kai and more). Taking into account that there is no cheap cheap option in Zurich, my go-to place is Yoojis. I prefer the one in Seefeld but also like the one on Dreikoenigstrasse. I have been to the one at Bellevue but it wasn't as good as the two other places.

Try "Kai Sushi" at Max-Bill-Platz. Freshly prepared sushi, friendly people and not too pricy

Bimi (25, Seefeldstrasse, 8008 Zürich, Switzerland) and Sala of Tokyo (Limmatstrasse 29, 8005 Zürich) are excellent quality and reasonable prices - for ZH - taking into account what the quality.

There are also outstanding Ramen/Udon restaurants in ZH if you are interested.

Samurai near Stauffacher - This one is the most close to how I experienced good sushi in Tokyo.

Also good is Makoto near Adliswill, I really liked their tuna.

On the contrary, I had bad experience with Bimi (Zurich Seefeld) - expensive, long service, fish is too cold and rice too chewy.

Globus in ZH Bellevue is kinda ok, but they make very good Tuna Yamakake.

Yooji is fine considering the reasonable prices.

I enjoy Peking Garden (Hardturmstrasse 161).

It isn't the best in town, but it's a combination of Chinese and Japanese food on a rotating sushi bar (both hot and cold items) for about 21 or 22 chf.
