Swiss Chocolates without nuts

One of my kids is allergic to nuts and in my understanding all Swiss chocolates contain nuts.

Any recommendations for premium swiss chocolate stores that sell chocolates that do not contain nuts?

Thanks in advance.

Not all Swiss chocolates have nuts as ingredients. However most will contain a warning that they "can contain" traces of nuts. Same as in the U.S.

Sorry, my bad, I meant she gets allergies also to Swiss chocolates which don't mention nuts or traces in the ingredients.... which is a bit sad as she adores chocolates but doesn't get to enjoy them in this chocolate heaven!

So I wondering if anyone else had a similar experience and found any specific brands of Swiss chocolates that work for them....

Give Laederach a call. They're (IMO) the world's best chocolate and they offer guaranteed nut free chocolate.

Does she like milk chocs? If so, just check on the back of package, it will say processed in a factory with nuts. Otherwise, many great dark chocs here. But kids like the sugar.

Hi OP,

Some suggestions:

Online shop:

These guys seem to offer chocolate without nuts: here you go

Migros:

Has your daughter tried Banago yet? It's a chocolate powder and the package doesn't mention traces of nuts. You can get it in sachets as well. It's yummy

This chocolate powder is good as well and it doesn't mention traces of nuts either. I don't know if they sell it in small sachets though.

This dark chocolate mentions traces of nuts, so I'd avoid it.

Has she been tested for all possible allergens? Milk and soy spring to mind when talking about chocolate...

When you find a chocolate she can consume without allergic reactions, I'd use that chocolate to make many different treats (e.g. fudge) so that she can have it in several forms. Good luck with your search!

This is great info! Nut free guarantee is exactly what I need! Will call. Thanks!!

This is very helpful! I did not think before of making stuff for her myself... As she does quite well with a couple chocolate powders that I already use, I can continue along these lines. Thanks so much for the idea!

She's been tested in US for several food families and trees for allergens. She tested negative for Milk and Soy. Bur mild to substantially high positive for different nuts, sesame and a few trees.

You're welcome
