... found this company searching the web. The company required English speaking lawyers. Hope it will be helpful for someone.
Good luck..
I`m a 23 year old Australian (also hold Italian Citizenship) now living in Switzerland with my girlfriend. Only speak English, learning German... as for Swiss German.. maybe in a few years time
The forums are very useful, glad I stumbled across them. Had a look at some of the links but if anyone could give me some suggestions on finding a job specific to my circumstances that would be great.
I have a degree in commerce (majoring in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting and Corporate Finance). I am also currently a part qualified Chartered Accountant. I have 2+ years experience in external audit with one of the big 4 accounting firms. My skills are probably more suited to financial accounting, auditing and business analyst roles.
If anyone has any suggestions/advice on where I should look or what my chances of finding a job related to my experience/qualifications that would be great
Thanks
suggest you have a look at the Big 4 here in Switzerland, eg PwC : English Language Version
they also happen to have an office in Bern.

Enough to make you google eyed...
I get the same impression in Switz.
Like totally!!! Then they keep you hanging around hoping and praying you got the job. They give you all the right signals in feedback and you wait and wait.
I'm new to Switzerland having moved over with my husband in mid-June, as he has a job in Feldmeilen. I was a Director of a Corporate Communications team in London and I am now looking for a role in the Zurich area - happy to travel up to an hour. I'm based in Staefa.
I'm registered with Michael Page but does anyone have any suggestions for agencies specifically focusing on Public Relations / Communications roles?
Any thoughts welcome, over and above what has been suggested already.
Many thanks
Annabel
I have a quick question:
Has anyone in the Wealth Mgmt Industry heard of Quantum Global Wealth Management ?
Thanks in advance ,

I am in the same situation as you...moving from Paris to Zurich to follow my husband.
I have looked at: swisslinx, future watch, huxley associates.
Best of luck

I probably did not ask my question properly, I was hoping to get more information in terms of their reputation, key people, track record, etc. I did already find factual info on the company but that is pretty much it!
and there are other positions on our website as well including jobs in Lucerne:

I gather that there are a lot of applicants, but the position is still open currently, so you'll need to move quickly!
Good luck!

They did not want to discuss money before the interview. I don't want to ask for to much in case it ruins my chances and I don't want to f*** myself by asking to little and then have to live like a church mouse!!!
I don't even know the general cost of living.
This site is helpful but doesn't quote prices.
Does anyone knows how much aprox a QA Engineer earns?
Prices on property?
Food?
HELP!!!!!!
The Swiss don't like to discuss money, and your not likely to know from your fist interview. Thats my experience anyway.
The cost of living is genrally higher than he UK, although higher slaries compensate for that. The cost of apartment rental all depends on what you are looking for, what area etc. I would recommend looking at www.homegate.ch to get an idea for yourself.
I've no idea for the approx. salary of a QA engineer, sorry.
There's lots of useful info on EF, you just have to search for it. You will find many similar questions, and the answers to them
